In Ogun, GNI Pays Courtesy Visit To Asiwaju Orile-Imo, Others


A Former governorship candidate in Ogun State,  Gboyega Nasiru Isiaka on  Thursday paid a courtesy visit to Asiwaju Orile Imo who doubles as Adele Oloko of Orile Oko, Chief Olalekan Olakunle 

Isiaka in his speech noted that his visit was not plolitical, saying that he has come to pay the monarch and his  people a courtesy visit.


He explained  that during the 2019 governorship election, the community stood by him and supported him fully.


GNI said, '' I am here today to visit  the Adele Oloko of Orile Oko and who is also the Asiwaju of Orile-Imo and  people of community generally. This visit is important because since the conclusion of the 2019 election, have not been able to come here and these are the people who have given me full support during the electioneering campaign in 2019, I really appreciate you all for your support.



''I am not here for a political reason but just to visit our people. I want us to join hands together to support the current administration of prince Dapo Abiodun to take the state to greater height because that is the only way we can succeed as a state and which should not forget that covid19 is real, I want us to comply by the guidelines given by the State government so as to prevent the spread. I pray may will not contract the pandemic'' He concluded

Meanwhile, chief Olalekan Olakunle appreciated Isiaka for the courtesy visit.

He commended him for remembering him and the people of the community.


Adele Oloko Of Orile Oko assured him of his continued support and his people, saying that when it is time, they will stand by him.

Chief Olalekan therefore prayed for him.


Also the baales , chiefs and residents in the community also appreciated his visit, assuring him of their full supports

Ogun Popular Music Promoter, Bamgboye Installed As Oluwo Of Ijeja Land

The Alake of Egbaland, Oba Aremu  Adedotun Gbadebo, on Monday appointed a popular music producer, chief Aremu Bamgboye  as the Oluwo of Ijeja land , Abeokuta, area of Ogun State. The Alake Of Egbaland who was represented by the Oluwo of Igbehin  who also doubles as Oluwo of Agbonyi installed chief Aremu Bamgboye as the Oluwo of Ijeja land. He said that the installation came from the order of the Alake of Egbaland, Oba Gbadebo Adedotun. The Oluwo of Igbehin maintained that that any other Oluwo apart from chief Bamgboye is a counterfeit. ''We are here today on the order given to us by the Paramount Ruler of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo that we should install chief Bamgboye as the Oluwo of Ijeja land and we have successfully installed him. He is the authentic Oluwo''. He therefore called on the residents of Ijeja land to support the newly appointed  Oluwo of the community. Federal Polytechnic Ilaro Set for Re-Opening of campus

The federal polytechnic ilaro recently has put in place measures which have been instructed by the Federal government and the presidential task force on covid19 that all institutions across The Nation should put in place before reopening of campuses. The institution as put in place disinfectant booths and also social distancing marks which are going to be guide in entering the main campus.
