Stop Destabilizing Ogun Politics, Adedamola Warns Arabambi

The newly elected chairman of Inter-party Advisory Council, IPAC, Ogun state chapter, Asiwaju Adedamola Adeshina  has warned the former chairman of IPAC, comrade Abayomi Arabambi  not to become a  destabilizing factor in  ogun state politics Adedamola disclosed this over the weekend  in a statement personally  made available to newsmen in Abeokuta. In Ogun, Residents Of Ayetoro Get Free Medical Services From 100 Women Lobby Group

The residents of Ayetoro have benefited from the free medical services provided by a group known as 100 women lobby  group. The group said this is part of its efforts to show care for the people of the community. A group known as 100 women lobby group, Ogun state chapter,  has said that women's  rates of empowerment within the community is woefully low. The group noted that women in most times are not treated well, advising the federal government to ensure greater equality between men and women. The state coordinator of the group, Prof. Oluwabunmi Ashimolowo disclosed this in Ayetoro, Ogun state.  She  said that if efforts are not made to stabilize women in various aspects, they are at risk of being further left behind. OGUN YOUTHS BENEFIT FROM FG SPECIAL PUBLIC WORKS PROGRAMME

20,000 youths in Ogun State, have benefitted from the Federal Government extended Special Public Works (SPW) programme, aimed at addressing the high rate of unemployment and rising insecurity in some part of the country.  The Minister of Mines and Steel Development, Arc. Olamilekan Adegbite who made this known during the flag-off exercise at the June 12 Cultural Centre, Kuto Abeokuta, said the programme was designed to employ 1000 persons in each Local Government Areas across the federation. Arc. Adegbite said the initiative was an outcome of the pilot SPW programme in the rural areas, approved by President Muhammadu Buhari and implemented by the National Directorate of Employment (NDE) in early 2020, saying the pilot scheme was initially implemented in eight States of the federation to evaluate its impact on addressing high rate of unemployment. Ogun: Sanusi innauguarates Fagbenro As APC Chairman In Abeokuta South

The chairman of the newly-reconstituted caretaker committee of the All Progressives Congress in Ogun State, Chief Yemi Sanusi  on Thursday, inaugurated Hon. Adetunji Henry Fagbenro as Abeokuta South Local government party chairman along side with other Eighteen(18) APC local government chairmen in the State. Preparation for the 10th Asaba Ladies Open Golf Tournament To Take off from January

The tournament being organised by the Ladies Division of Ibori Golf and Country Club (IGCC), Asaba, Delta State is anticipated to feature no fewer than one hundred and eighty lady golfers and men arriving from across the country. Captain of the Ladies section, Angie Uwabor disclosed that all necessary arrangements towards successful organising the three days golf tournament have been concluded as planned. Ogun: Foundation Provides Shelter For Vulnerable Children, Others, Set To Empower Them

A Non Governmental Organization, Rays of hope Community Foundation, has provided shelter for less Privileged and Vulnerable Children in Ago Iwoye, Ogun state. While Commissioning the shelter house on Thursday, the Executive Director of Rays of Hope Community Foundation, Taiwo Adefunke Adebanjo submitted that the house will cater for Vulnerable Children. She added that the shelter will allow the children to monitor their Education Growth.  Adebanjo said, ''We are commissioning a shelter for the less privileged ones and at the same time, I'm marking my 60th birthday,  normally we care for orphans and vulnerable children but we realised that it's not just caring for them outside because we have a lot of them that doesn't have a shelter and we have other families that can not even manage them but still they cannot accommodate the population that we have  and we have so much of them, we don't want a  situation that they will be abused and not be properly
