The 2019 aspirant for Lagos state house of assembly, Hon. Olabanjo Adeleke has felicitated with the muslim faithful as they celebrate sallah today
Hon. Adeleke's felicitation was conveyed in a statement signed by him on Thursday in Ikeja Lagos state.
He urged the Muslim faithful to use the opportunity of the period to pray fervently to end covid-19 pandemic in the state.
The former aspirant commended the muslims for supporting the state government in fighting covid-19 pandemic on preventing measure.
He added that this year’s celebration was coming at a time when the world was plagued by coronavirus pandemic, saying that the deadly disease has come and will surely go.
The chairmanship aspirant also called on the residents of Lagos state to continue supporting the state government towards fighting covid-19 pandemic in the state.
''I want to appreciate the muslims for being patient with Our amiable Governor *His Excellency Babajide Sanwo Olu, our MHR Hon. Adebayo Olusegun Balogun, Our MHA Hon. Raheem Adewale Kazeem We should all believe that the law to celebrate at home is for our own benefit to be prevented from the pandemic. I want to urge us to comply with the state government as we celebrate Sallah day today '' He added
