Abiodun Is An Exceptional Governor That Deserves Second Term - Farouq

The chairmanship aspirant for Abeokuta South local government, under the platform of All Progressive Congress, APC, Hon. Adeniyi Akintunde Farouq has praised  governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State  for  ordering all contractors in the state to complete all abadoned projects He also described him as an exceptional governor that deserves second term in the state. The transition committee  chairman Abeokuta South Local Government, Hon. Ayodeji Michael Shomide and his committee members have hailed late  Moshood Kashimawo Abiola for his selfless leadership and the restoration of democracy in Nigeria. Hon. Shomide noted  that MKO stood for his mandate as the winner of June 12, 1993 election. He also added that he paid with his life and did not accept any other offer aside the one he was given by the electorates. The council boss, therefore, commended him for his dogged determination and sacrifice which at last birthed Democracy Governance in Nigeria, that all political actors should emulate his political perseverance and inclination.

Farouq Advocates  Capital  Punishment  For Convicted Rapists A  chairmanship hopeful,  Abeokuta South Local Government, Hon. Farouq Adeniyi Akintunde has advocated  for capital punishment  for convicted  rapists  in the country. The leading aspirant lamented over the high rate of rape within the society.
