Covid-19: PCRC Donates Nose Masks To Students In Southwest

The South West leadership of the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) ably led by its National Vice Chairman, Alhaji Asiwaju Ibraheem Olaniyan yesterday donated nose masks to leadership of  National Association of Nigerian Students South West Zone , NANS Zone D in Abeokuta, Ogun state.

Alhaji Ibraheem,  submitted that  he realised that the youths are the future leaders of the country and  that was why he decided to support them with free nose masks.

He noted that there is too much violence in our community right now which the youths would have been a ready fix to turn to.

The national vice chairman said, ''It is however unfortunate that we have a polluted society. The polity of our clime is dirty and deadly.

''Conflicts involving young Nigerians in and out of the country are reported on a daily bases. Without mincing words, the assistance of the leadership of Nigerian Students in the Zone is needed to curb and overcome the common vices''

He however solicited for more support and partnership with the leadership of Nigerian Police Force in all South Western States of the country in order to have a peaceful and violence free zone.

''Facts have been established that not all cultists are students, there are several of them that had been apprehended by PCRC and after a thorough investigation was carried out, it was clearly noted that majority of cultists nowadays are not students''

PCRC therefore appealed to the leadership of NANS South West Zone to join hands closely with the security agencies in order to sanitize the community from all social vices and crisis, most importantly the case of cultism.

He admonished all Nigerian Students to always stay safe and also proposed a forum/platform where PCRC South West and NANS South West leadership could dialogue at all times.

The Deputy Coordinator NANS South West Zone, Comrade Oladimeji Uthman on behalf of the leadership of the Zone and the entire Progressive Students appreciated the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) South West for the kind gesture and a hand of partnership extended towards Nigerian Students and promised that Nigerian students in South West would continue to be of good conducts at all times.
