Covid-19: Don't let covid19 weigh you Down, Simi Tells Nigerians





A sensational gospel artiste, SIMIOLUWA Adegbesan, popularly known as Simi Essay has urged  Nigerians not to let the the issue of coronavirus pandemic to weigh them down.


The sonorous artiste who is based in Canadan said Nigerians should not  let the current state of things look like a dream.

He said, ''these are unprecedented times,  and this is the realest you have seen yet. You have to try and support every directives of the government and healthcare professionals.  And to the government, it is as simple as if you don't love your people genuinely, then there is no will and where there no will, there will never be a way to help them. Do the right thing and make Nigeria great again.

''There are a lot of theories out there, but there is no one place to look than the basics. As for me, this is a time to reflect on what God has said about my life and the promises He has for me, which is "a future and a hope". This is the time to realign, reignite, restitute, recompense, refocus, redirect, rediscover and return to the right path. This is the time to make our tomorrow better, today'' He concluded

He advised people to obey the directives of the government, saying that it will help them a long way.

''To the people, we need to understand that a city divided against itself will never stand. We all need to find that meeting point to rebuild our country our country again through hardwork, dedication through hope, and willingness to try. Let love and hope guide your heart, stand up for what is right and then together, nothing will be able to stop you. Stay safe through the trying moment.


Simi Essay is blessed with a lovely wife and kids. He is a Yoruba man by tribe. He has been in the industry  for over 10years.

 He is  also a songwriter, music coach and a film director. He now in abroad base to pursue his gospel music career.

Another single track called "ONIBU ORE"which was released in 2020,Onibu Ore is a Yoruba hymn , a  remainder of how lord is our benefactor and present help times of tribulations and need.

Simi has acquired lot of experiences as a music director and judge for series of gospel music....

The Ogun State ICON of Humanity has honored the Commissioner for Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Affairs, Hon. Barrister Femi Ogunbanwo  in the State with award for supporting the vulnerable during the hottest stage of Covid-19. Yomi- Faj Mourns As Anthony Adejonpe Dies

   A member of Ogun State House of Assembly, Representing Ijebu North East State Constituency, Hon. Fasuwa Johnson has commiserated with the family of Anthony Adejonpe who died yesterday night In his condolence message, the assembly man  said that  the death of  the Ijebu born  came as a shock to him. The assembly man described the deceased as  a worthy and dependable son of Imomo, ilugun Alaro in his life time. He said, ''This is a  great loss to us in Ijebu North East and Ijebu in  general,  A vibrant and a highly dependable youth is gone. We had our last meeting in September though very short was all about how we can move our area to the next level.
