Arewa Community, Seriki's, Market Leaders, Transport Union, Others Meet over compliance of Inter-State Lockdown Order In Ogun


In  response to the excessive migration of people from other states into Ogun state amidst the inter-state lockdown which has posted  a danger to the state for being more vulnerable to Codiv-19 pandemic in Ogun state via migration transmission effect.



The Seriki of all  Hausas of the entire  state, Arewa community Market leaders, Transport Unions, Ministry of Agriculture and other related stakeholders  converged to address the issue of unhealthy migration into Ogun state amidst the Codiv- 19 inter state lockdown order.



They were well informed, role assigned and consequences well stated to all violators to ensure compliance in support of the effort of His Excellency Prince Dapo Abiodun Mfr on eradicating Codiv 19 in Ogun state.

Prince Hadi Sani, Special Assistant to the Governor on inter-ethnic intimated the Seriki's and market leaders in local language to ensure proper understanding and compliance to government regulations and total avoidance of  unhealthy  migration into Ogun State in this critical era of Covid 19 global pandemic.

The meeting was Chaired by the Special Adviser to governor Abiodun on security, AIG Shola Subair , Rtd,

Subair explained in detail the sanction behind violating inter-state lockdown order through introduction of mobile court in the state.


A special task force constituted  by Federal ministry of Agriculture headed by Commissioner of police, Arewa Community headed by Prince Hadi Sani, Transport union, Farmers Association and other major stakeholders will commence operation by 14TH of May, 2020 to ensure absolute compliance to eradicate the unhealthy migration amidst the inter-state lock down order of the federal government and strict compliance on flow of  Agricultural produce  movement in and out of the state.

Ogun Commissioner Gets Honorary Award For Supporting The Vulnerable

The Ogun State ICON of Humanity has honored the Commissioner for Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Affairs, Hon. Barrister Femi Ogunbanwo  in the State with award for supporting the vulnerable during the hottest stage of Covid-19. While presenting the award to him, the president of Flashlight Entertainment, Wole Otuyelu  appreciated him for his kind gesture towards the vulnerable during the trying period in the state. Meanwhile, the awardee appreciated the Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun for giving him the privilege to contribute his quota towards the development of Ogun State. Yomi- Faj Mourns As Anthony Adejonpe Dies

   A member of Ogun State House of Assembly, Representing Ijebu North East State Constituency, Hon. Fasuwa Johnson has commiserated with the family of Anthony Adejonpe who died yesterday night In his condolence message, the assembly man  said that  the death of  the Ijebu born  came as a shock to him. The assembly man described the deceased as  a worthy and dependable son of Imomo, ilugun Alaro in his life time. He said, ''This is a  great loss to us in Ijebu North East and Ijebu in  general,  A vibrant and a highly dependable youth is gone. We had our last meeting in September though very short was all about how we can move our area to the next level.
