Ogun will continue to provide best health facilities to the people says Shomide

The transition committee chairman of Abeokuta south local government, Hon. Ayodeji Shomide has said that the residents of Ogun state will continue to have full access to proper health care facilities in the state.

He also said that the current administration led by Prince Dapo Abiodun is working harder to ensure  dividend of democracy among the  citizens of the state by providing the best possible services to the people.

Shomide disclosed this on Sunday while handing medical equipment donated by the Rotary club of Obantoko, Abeokuta, Ogun state  to Fajol health center, Abeokuta south local government health care center, at fajol, Obatonko

According to him, the governor of our dear state, Prince Dapo Abiodun has mentioned on numerous occasion on the need to improve our health care facilities by making it functional and effective where our people can be attended to before they can be referred to general hospital.

''The state government on its part is working harder to ensure the people at grassroots get quality, affordable and proper care in the state and as  chairman of this local government I will continue to compliment Abiodun's efforts by ensuring our people continue to enjoy health care facilities''

He appreciated the Rotary club for their gesture, saying that it is great support that would help improve the services expected to be given to residents of the community.

''On behalf of the people of Fajol community, I would like to thank you for your generous donation of nets, curtains, generator and electrophoresis to fajol health center. I will like to say a big thank to you once again and state that your support is greatly appreciated''. He concluded

Meanwhile,  assistant to the  district governor of Rotary club, both Lagos and Ogun state, Rtn Ebun Atinuke has called on the state government to collaborate with the club in providing for the needy people.

According to him, the club can not do it alone, we gave been trying our best but we need government's support in putting smiles on the people's faces.

He also said that apart from the donation, they are also going to empower twenty youths on entrepreneurship within the local government.

Ogun Popular Music Promoter, Bamgboye Installed As Oluwo Of Ijeja Land

The Alake of Egbaland, Oba Aremu  Adedotun Gbadebo, on Monday appointed a popular music producer, chief Aremu Bamgboye  as the Oluwo of Ijeja land , Abeokuta, area of Ogun State. The Alake Of Egbaland who was represented by the Oluwo of Igbehin  who also doubles as Oluwo of Agbonyi installed chief Aremu Bamgboye as the Oluwo of Ijeja land. He said that the installation came from the order of the Alake of Egbaland, Oba Gbadebo Adedotun. The Oluwo of Igbehin maintained that that any other Oluwo apart from chief Bamgboye is a counterfeit. ''We are here today on the order given to us by the Paramount Ruler of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo that we should install chief Bamgboye as the Oluwo of Ijeja land and we have successfully installed him. He is the authentic Oluwo''. He therefore called on the residents of Ijeja land to support the newly appointed  Oluwo of the community. Federal Polytechnic Ilaro Set for Re-Opening of campus

The federal polytechnic ilaro recently has put in place measures which have been instructed by the Federal government and the presidential task force on covid19 that all institutions across The Nation should put in place before reopening of campuses. The institution as put in place disinfectant booths and also social distancing marks which are going to be guide in entering the main campus.
