The Ogun State House of Assembly has disclosed that it will on Tuesday screen all the twenty local government caretaker committees appointed by the Ogun State governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun on Friday.
The Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. Olakunle Oluomo stated this in a release signed by the Ag. Clerk of the assembly, Mr Deji Adeyemo.
The release also added that other members of the State House of Assembly should resume on Monday, 6th January, 2020.
According to the release, the resumption would enable the House of Assembly attend to correspondences received during the new year break from the State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, seeking the approval of appointments of Caretaker Committees to the Local Government Councils in the State
The State assembly will also screen ratify and approve for another Commissioner nominee as well as the screening of Hon. Justice Mobolaji Ayodele Ojo for the position of President, Customary Court of Appeal, Ogun State.
members are enjoined to resume on Monday, 6th January, 2020 to screen the Commissioner Nominee, Mrs. Kikelomo Longe and Hon. Justice Mobolaji Ayodele Ojo for the position of the President of the Customary Court of Appeal at 12noon.
The release further added that the Assembly would screen the members of Caretaker Committees appointed for Local Government Councils in Ogun Central Senatorial District on Tuesday, 7th January, 2020 at 12noon.
''The screening for members of the Caretaker Committees for Local Government Councils in Ogun East Senatorial District would take place at the Assembly Complex at 12noon, while their Ogun West counterparts would be screened at 2pm prompt the same day''
All the nominees are enjoined to come along with 30 copies each of their Curriculum Vitae and other Credentials
