Yuletide: Ogun Deputy governor visits Stella Obasanjo home, gives  out various gifts to children



The deputy governor of Ogun State, Noimot Salako-Oyedele on Monday paid a surprise visit to the children of Stella Obasanjo home where she gave out various gifts to them.



She noted that the visit is to celebrate with them and to give the children  sense of belonging and love.

According to her, it is  important to show love and care for the children especially during the Christmas season .

''My  presence at the children’s home  today was to give them a sense of belonging and love and  i want to assure that the  present administration led by Gov. Dapo Abiodun would continue to support the Home''

While interacting with the children she encouraged them to see themselves as good boys and girls and also leaders of tomorrow.


“ I want you to Continue to be good boys and girls, Your instructors are here to guide you, in few years, you will be well endowed,” she said.

Meanwhile, the chairperson of the OGBC Father Xmas Funfair, Doyin Lasisi-Oloruntola highlighted series of philanthropic gesture carried out by OGBC during the month-long event.

According to her, apart from the children of Stella Obasanjo home, those of of Daniel Akintonde School of Children with special needs and Gideon Orphanage , Abeokuta also benefitted from OGBC'S Social services to humanity just as  a well attended Xmas party was  organised for children of the staff of the Nation's Model Station, 90.5fm

She appreciated the  partners, churches and schools for finding OGBC worthy of a mutual relationship

Lasisi also lauded  the management of the station Led by Mr Diji Akinhanmi for creating an enabling environment for the committee to serve.

She therefore submitted that the Nation's Model Station is on its toes to serve the listening public better,  adding that the OGBC Children's Arena with modern facilities courtesy OGSG11 is still opened for fun-filled  activities after yultide.

Ogun Popular Music Promoter, Bamgboye Installed As Oluwo Of Ijeja Land

The Alake of Egbaland, Oba Aremu  Adedotun Gbadebo, on Monday appointed a popular music producer, chief Aremu Bamgboye  as the Oluwo of Ijeja land , Abeokuta, area of Ogun State. The Alake Of Egbaland who was represented by the Oluwo of Igbehin  who also doubles as Oluwo of Agbonyi installed chief Aremu Bamgboye as the Oluwo of Ijeja land. He said that the installation came from the order of the Alake of Egbaland, Oba Gbadebo Adedotun. The Oluwo of Igbehin maintained that that any other Oluwo apart from chief Bamgboye is a counterfeit. ''We are here today on the order given to us by the Paramount Ruler of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo that we should install chief Bamgboye as the Oluwo of Ijeja land and we have successfully installed him. He is the authentic Oluwo''. He therefore called on the residents of Ijeja land to support the newly appointed  Oluwo of the community. Federal Polytechnic Ilaro Set for Re-Opening of campus

The federal polytechnic ilaro recently has put in place measures which have been instructed by the Federal government and the presidential task force on covid19 that all institutions across The Nation should put in place before reopening of campuses. The institution as put in place disinfectant booths and also social distancing marks which are going to be guide in entering the main campus.
