He disclosed this in an interview with news men on Sunday during a carol service organized by the radiating church at Kuto, Abeokuta, Ogun State.

He furthered explained that Christ is God's gift to the world and the reason for his gift is love.

According to him, staying in Love is the reason for the season, hence the importance of having a carol service.

''This carol service was geared towards helping people with the love of God and the sacrifices of Jesus Christ so that they too could live in the same spirit of love and sacrifice''

He advised Christians to imbibe the spirit of love and express it to one another during the Christmas and always.

Meanwhile the pastor of Lekki based church; Kingsword Ministries International, Jimi Tewe, has also advised Nigerians to move closer to God, saying He remains the one to lead man safely through the outgoing year and usher him into the new one in His mercy and blessing.

Tewe also said that God is the ultimate google map to direct a people or nation to the destination of success and joy, adding that a nation could only enjoy such privilege of divine direction when her people  get closer to Him.

Drawing inspiration from the book of Matthew chapter  6 verse 6, Tewe advised people who lacked clear understanding of their life direction to seek wise counsel from those in a  position to know and give valuable perspective or direction to them.

"If you don't know where you are going, ask another person where you are going to," he counselled.

He also advised the congregation not to give up on marriage, noting that it is sweet but never perfect.

Pastor Tewe  explained that the glamour of wedding is good but keeping the marriage which is the real thing, is better, even as he advised  Christians not to give up on marriage.
