We will mobilise over 3,000 voters for Bello at LG election, COMPRO's Alumni vow (UPDATED)

The Comprehensive Academy Alumni Association, COMPRO, has vowed that it  will ensure that  they mobilise over three thousand people to support  the chairmanship aspirant for Abeokuta north local government, Hon. Wale Bello during the 2020 local government election.

The body also submitted  that it is fully in support of the candidacy of the chairmanship aspirant, saying that Abeokuta north needs someone like Hon. Bello to administer the local government.

While speaking with the president of the Association, barrister Habeeb-white Yakubu noted that they will make sure that the youths in Abeokuta north support Hon. Wale Bello at the election.

''Hon. Wale Bello is a father to us. He sees every student of COMPRO as his children. We need someone like him in Abeokuta north because his importance in the lives of the people of the local government can not be undermined. 

''We are going to mobilise over three thousand people on our part to support Hon. Wale Bello because his local government needs him at this time'' he concluded.

Yakubu maintained that they have championed a lot things since Bello has declared his ambition, saying that they have done leaflets, banners and caps so as to show support for him.

''We will try all  our possible best to ensure Hon. Bello win at the poll. Because we are also one of the people that said Oga you can do better in this community and that this community needs you to grow so nothing can stop us from stepping back. We are all for him all the time'' 

They therefore promised  that the youths of Abeokuta north local government will show unflinching support  for him , this is a competition of healthy rivalry. We are not against anybody but our aims and objectives are to ensure he wins at the poll.,

Ogun Popular Music Promoter, Bamgboye Installed As Oluwo Of Ijeja Land

The Alake of Egbaland, Oba Aremu  Adedotun Gbadebo, on Monday appointed a popular music producer, chief Aremu Bamgboye  as the Oluwo of Ijeja land , Abeokuta, area of Ogun State. The Alake Of Egbaland who was represented by the Oluwo of Igbehin  who also doubles as Oluwo of Agbonyi installed chief Aremu Bamgboye as the Oluwo of Ijeja land. He said that the installation came from the order of the Alake of Egbaland, Oba Gbadebo Adedotun. The Oluwo of Igbehin maintained that that any other Oluwo apart from chief Bamgboye is a counterfeit. ''We are here today on the order given to us by the Paramount Ruler of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo that we should install chief Bamgboye as the Oluwo of Ijeja land and we have successfully installed him. He is the authentic Oluwo''. He therefore called on the residents of Ijeja land to support the newly appointed  Oluwo of the community. Federal Polytechnic Ilaro Set for Re-Opening of campus

The federal polytechnic ilaro recently has put in place measures which have been instructed by the Federal government and the presidential task force on covid19 that all institutions across The Nation should put in place before reopening of campuses. The institution as put in place disinfectant booths and also social distancing marks which are going to be guide in entering the main campus.
