APC Lagos assembly aspirant, Hon. Adeleke Olabanjo donates solar street light, borehole to community
2019 APC aspirant for Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Adeleke Olabanjo on Monday donated solar street lights to the street of Idata community Lekki Lcda in Ibeju Lekki, Lagos State.
Hon. Adeleke Olabanjo who is a philanthropist also gave out a borehole to the students of RCM primary school, Idata, Lekki LCDA, in Ibeju lekki area of the State.
While donating the items he said that the gesture is not for political purpose but to show love and support for his community, but if by God permission secured an office in the Government sector that will give him more chance to bring the dividend back to our people across Ibeju Lekki constituency II.
He said, ''I gave those things out because of my community. Government can not do it alone for us and if we believed government can do it all for us. We are just deceiving our selves.
''When you love your community and you are blessed it is important for you to stretch it out to your community and you give them what you believe they are lacking''
He maintained that he decided to give out borehole to the students because he didn't like seeing them lacking water in school.
''I believe this is what they really need, the students are not supposed to be lacking water, this place is still more or less a rural area.
''It is not that i aspired in the last election or for political reasons that I did these gestures even before I ever aspired, I having been stretching my hands to my community where I involved in cultivation of the town, giving out children big note books other written materials, school uniforms and free health care to communities across Ibeju Lekki constituency II as a whole''
The 2019 APC Lagos State house of assembly aspirant noted that he inherited the act of giving from his parents, adding that his parents love giving out to the less privileged people.
