Nilayo Sports Steps Up Preparation Ahead Of JAC Motors Abeokuta 10km Race

Race owner and organiser of the JAC Motors Abeokuta 10km Race, Nilayo Sports has stepped up preparations for the much-talked about historic JAC Motors Abeokuta 10km Race billed for November 2nd, 2019.

Nilayo Sports known for organising world class sporting events has once again raised the bar in preparation and organisation of international sporting events.

The leading Nigerian sporting company is leaving no stone unturned in its bid to consolidate on its brilliant track record by staging a world class event come November 2nd, 2019.

 To this end, the organiser in company of representatives from title sponsor, JAC Motors and co-sponsors like Access Bank, Rite Foods embarked on a recce under heavy downpour from the Race starting point at Iyana-Oloke to the finish line at the palace of the Alake of Egbaland.

Apart from the first hand assessment and work on the designated routes, the team also organised a special training for the technical team, umpires and other strategic officials under the supervision of the technical head, Yusuf Alli.

Bukola Olopade, the Managing Director of Nilayo Sports adds "the race will create a better lifestyle and introduce an experience that is second to none". The Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS) and International Athletics Association Federation (IAAF) certified race will hold on November 2nd, 2019.

Other attractions to look forward to include the star prize of $5000 for the winner in the male and female categories and N1, 000, 000 for the first Nigerian athlete to cross the finish line.

The Ogun State ICON of Humanity has honored the Commissioner for Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Affairs, Hon. Barrister Femi Ogunbanwo  in the State with award for supporting the vulnerable during the hottest stage of Covid-19. Fasuwa Johnson has commiserated with the family of Anthony Adejonpe who died yesterday night In his condolence message, the assembly man  said that  the death of  the Ijebu born  came as a shock to him. The assembly man described the deceased as  a worthy and dependable son of Imomo, ilugun Alaro in his life time. He said, ''This is a  great loss to us in Ijebu North East and Ijebu in  general,  A vibrant and a highly dependable youth is gone.
