Landgrabbers attack communities in Ogun, shoot three, matchette one.

At least, three persons were shot, while one other sustained serious matchette wounds when hoodlums suspected to be land grabber popularly referred to as ''omo onile'' attacked four communities in Odogbolu local government area of Ogun state last weekend. Numbering about 30, the hoodlums, said to have been working for a notorious land grabbers, Kamorudeen Lamina, also known as ''Sir K. Oluwo'', swooped on residents of Mooro Otefisan, Odoonosa, Gbodomo and Amitekun all in the Ijebu axis of Odoogbolu local government area at the early hours of Saturday where they inflicted injuries on the people. The hoodlums were said to have infiltrated the four communities in retaliation of their principal, Sir K Oluwo, who is currently being detained at the Sagamu prison over death of three persons on a disputed land in the area. Hon. Olumide hails Abiodun's victory at tribunal.

The chairmanship aspirant for Abeokuta South Local Government under the platform of All Progressive Congress, APC, hon. Damilare Olumide has described the verdict of the tribunal as a reaffirmation of the popularity of Dapo Abiodun among the Ogun State people. He made this known in an interview with news men in Abeokuta, Ogun State. According to him, Abiodun's victory signifies the validation of the people's choice. He said ''I want to commend the tribunal for the judgement and the Ogun state people for their firm confidence in the governor and his team'' ''I join other good people of Ogun state in celebrating the verdict of the tribunal. ''Abiodun's pedigree and goodwill will always speak for him. ''With the judgement of the tribunal, the opposition and the stakeholders should join hands with Dapo Abiodun in his determined efforts to reposition Ogun State'' He concluded.

Jubilation in Ogun as Abiodun floors Akinlade at tribunal

There was jubilation among the  supporters  of  Ogun State governor, prince Dapo Abiodun  and the members of All Progressive Congress, APC, on Saturday in Abeokuta as the election  petition tribunal sitting in Isabo,  Abeokuta, Ogun State dismissed the petition challenging the victory of Dapo Abiodun at march 9 governorship election. The presiding judge, Justice Yusuf Halilu stroke out the petition seeking the disqualification of  Dapo Abiodun on the grounds of submitting false academic qualification and over-voting justice Halilu said that the petitioner has not only failed but irredeemably failed. According to him, the petition lacks credibility.  In his final judgement, justice Halilu maintained that the  petition is destined to fail. It is here by dismissed. NSCDC probes source of fake online recruitment messages

Following the recruitment advertisement by the Board of Civil Defence, Fire, Immigration and Correctional Services which portal has since closed on the 7th of September, 2019, it has come to the notice of the Management of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps that some unscrupulous elements has taken advantage of this process to defraud unsuspecting members of the public through sending fake text and online messages stating that the registered candidates for recruitment should check their e-mail messages for their names and shortlisted candidates should report for screening and training at different designated locations in the country. Abiodun is coming with full force to develop Ogun- LG Chairmanship aspirant, Olumide

A Chairmanship Aspirant for Abeokuta South Local Government, Hon. Engr Olumide Damilare has maintained that the people of Ogun state would be suprised with the massive development that would take place in few months to come. Olumide insisted that the state governor, Dapo Abiodun is currently working on appointing people with great skills and profile as members of his cabinet so as to help in bringing a rapid development to the state. The APC aspirant stated this while speaking with newsmen in Abeokuta, the Ogun state capital.
